This page expands on section 4 of the Privacy Policy, which governs. It lists what is actually set, so you can see what accepting or rejecting a category changes.
Nothing outside the strictly necessary category is set before you choose. You can change or withdraw any choice at any time using Cookie Settings in the footer of every page.
1.The four categories
We use cookies and similar technologies in four categories. Strictly necessary cookies keep the site working and cannot be switched off. Preference cookies remember choices such as your consent settings. Analytics cookies help us understand how the site is used. Advertising cookies support the delivery and measurement of advertising.
2.What is stored

The consent and theme items are stored in your browser's local storage, not sent to advertisers, and are never used to identify you.
We currently run no advertising vendors. The advertising category exists because the Privacy Policy describes one and because it controls the advertising signals we send to Google's consent framework - but no advertising script is loaded on this site today. If that changes, this table changes with it.
3.Changing your mind
Use Cookie Settings in the footer. Withdrawing consent is one click, the same as giving it. When you withdraw a category we stop the relevant scripts and delete the cookies that category had already set, where your browser lets us.
